Debit order Disputes

If you have a debit order that you know you did not sign up for, you can dispute it in a few easy steps. You have the power to reverse and/or stop unauthorised debit orders for amounts of R200 or less anytime, anywhere via the FNB Banking App, Cellphone Banking or Online Banking. You will receive immediate reversal on an unauthorised debit order if you dispute it within 40 days of the transaction.


If you have an unauthorised debit order for an amount greater than R200 and would like to dispute it, you can call 087 575 9404 or visit your nearest branch for assistance.

Salary Switching

Bidvest Premier Lounges:

  • Access to Bidvest Premier Lounge is limited to 120 minutes for Domestic Lounges and 240 minutes for International Lounges before the scheduled flight departure time printed on the boarding pass.
  • The main account holder is permitted to take a maximum of 2 (two) children into a Bidvest Premier Lounge per visit.

FNB Business Premier Current and Credit Card

Qualifying clients get access to SLOW Domestic Lounges (located in the domestic terminals of Lanseria, OR Tambo, King Shaka and Cape Town International Airports) as well as SLOW International (located in the international terminal of OR Tambo International Airport). To gain access to the lounges, you will need to present either your FNB Business Platinum Credit or Cheque card at the lounge reception.

  • If you do not meet the qualifying criteria for complimentary entries or you have used all your available complimentary entries, you will be charged for entering the lounge
  • Children younger than 2 years enter the SLOW Domestic Lounges and SLOW International complimentary, this means their entry does not count towards your complimentary entries. Children over the age of 2 years will be considered guests

  • Card holders under the age of 18 years will not be permitted access unless accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 years

  • All FREE visits will be allocated at main client level and can be used/ accessed by any card (cheque, credit, Fusion cards or additional credit cards)

  • All qualifying cardholders who have access to SLOW Domestic Lounges will only be allowed to enter 90 minutes before their boarding time.
  • Should the SLOW lounge capacity be reached, FNB Business Black, FNB Private Wealth and RMB Private Bank customers will be granted preferential access.
  • All your entries into the SLOW Bidvest Premier Lounges are non-transferable. All unused visits will not roll over to the next calendar year except for the month of January where the allocation from the month of December will be applicable until on or around the 8th of January.
  • Any additional visits (in excess of your complimentary visits) will be charged for Access will only be permitted on presentation and swiping of applicable card by the cardholder.
  • Only valid cards will be accepted. No expired cards will be accepted.
  • Only one card will be permitted per card holder per visit and must be accompanied by a boarding pass.
  • Both the card and the boarding pass must be issued in the same individual's name.

inContact offers you the ability to:

  1. Identify any unauthorised transactions on your accounts and report fraud immediately.

Online Secure


Protect your card against fraudulent use online. Online Secure uses a One Time PIN (OTP) that is sent to you and comes at no extra cost. To activate Online Secure on your card, you must be an Online Banking user.


Activate your card by logging on to your Online Banking profile and following these prompts:

  1. Log in to FNB Online Banking
  2. Select the My Bank Accounts sub tab
  3. Select the card you would like to activate
  4. Select Activate Now under the Online Secure column
  5. Click I accept and agree to the Disclaimer above
