How do I switch my debit orders?
You need to download the FNB App and go to the 'Search' field to type in Switching Services.
Is switching on the FNB platform safe?
Yes, the FNB platform is safe and requires the user to log into the FNB App for authentication before the switching service can be accessed.
How do I get authenticated or verified?
By logging in to your account using your username and password.
What documents do I need to switch my salary?
You will need to download an account confirmation letter from the FNB App that you can take to your employer to change or update your salary details.
What documents do I need to switch my debit orders?
There are no documents needed to switch your debit orders, as the switching process is paperless through the secure integration processes between FNB and external service providers. Note: not all service providers accept instructions from FNB. For service providers that are not integrated with FNB/ does not accept 3rd party instructions from us, we will generate a letter that a customer can download from the FNB App and personally take it to the service provider to make changes.
How do I track progress on my debit orders?
By accessing the status tracker functionality on the FNB App. The Status Tracker icon can be accessed by searching on the FNB App 'Search' field by typing in 'Status Tracker', where the clients can customise the widget to be displayed on their home page/landing page for quick access
How long does it take to switch my debit orders?
FNB will prepare and send the instructions to the service providers within 48 hours once you have completed your switch request on the FNB App. The turnaround time to update the banking details and to start debiting your new FNB Account is dependent of the service provider.
How do I log a debit order switching query?
You can log a query by using the chat to banker functionality on the app which will route you to a consultant that can assist you via the Secure Chat functionality
